A grade of "7" (INCOMPLETE) is given:
- To those students who have fulfilled only a majority (not less than 85%) of the total requirement of the course.
- To those students who failed to take their final examination, provided their class standing immediately before the finals is passing. The student must show proof that his failure to take the final examinations was due to reasons beyond his control and certified by the Registrar.
- To those students who did not complete their practicum projects or theses.
A grade of "7" must be completed within the succeeding three quarters. If the student fails to complete the requirements within the above prescribed period, the grade becomes a grade of "5" (FAILURE). A grade of "7" shall not be included in the computation of the quarterly weighted average.
A grade of "8" (ABSENT) is given to a student who is officially enrolled in a subject but fails to report to his class even once since the beginning of the term.
A grade of "8" (ABSENT) is equivalent to a grade of "5" in the computation of the student's GPA.
A grade of "9" (DROPPED) is given to a student who fails to officially drop a subject.
