Grading System

Attendance

No student shall be given credit in any subject unless he is enrolled in the course and attends his classes regularly.

Based on the ruling of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), a student who accumulates a number of absences equivalent to 20% of the prescribed number of school days in one quarter or approximately nine (9) hours of absence in a 3-unit subject shall automatically be given a final grade of "5" (FAILURE).

Grading System

The final grade of a graduate student in any subject shall be as follows:

A grade of "8" (ABSENT) is given to a student who is officially enrolled in a subject but fails to report to his class even once since the beginning of the term.

A grade of "8" (ABSENT) is equivalent to a grade of "5" in the computation of the student's GPA.

A grade of "9" (DROPPED) is given to a student who fails to officially drop a subject.
